Firm Insights explained

Your Insights page displays everything that currently needs your attention—your jobs and tasks (or those of your team members), pending client activity, and team stats. You can configure this page to your liking at any time.

Firm Insights at a glance

By default, the Insights page consists of four main widgets:

  • Jobs: shows job stats for the specified team member; by default, it displays your own jobs.

  • Pending client activity: shows pending actions from the clients that the specified team member follows ; by default, it displays your own clients.

  • Team summary: shows how many tasks or jobs the selected team members have; available to the Firm Owner and Admin roles only.

  • Tasks: to do: shows tasks for the specified employee, along with start dates and due dates; by default, it displays your tasks for today.

All these widgets can be added, moved, or removed to fit your needs. For the exact fields inside each widget, see this reference guide .

Access and permissions

By default, Firm Insights widgets are available to all team members and show their own jobs, tasks, or pending client activity. The Team summary widget is available only to the firm owner and admin ( see more on roles ).

Also, for the Jobs, Pending client activity, and Tasks: to do widgets, the firm owner and admin can select which team member’s data to display. Other team members always see their own stats.

Configure your Firm Insights widgets

You can add or remove widgets at any time. Click Edit widgets at the top of the page to enter editing mode.

In this mode, you can add, move and delete widgets:

  • To add a widget, click Add widget (a) and select the widget you want to add in the sidebar.
  • To delete a widget, click the trash icon (b) to the far right.
  • To move a widget, click and hold the six-dot icon (c) in its top-left corner, then drag it to a new position.
  • When you’ve finished configuring your Insights page, click Finish editing (d) to exit editing mode.
